Meet The Team

Belfry Security Alliance Limited’s Executive Management team is comprised of industry veterans with expertise in security services Training and prevention.

David Barrell – Managing Director

David has over 30 years experience as a Police Officer. Upon retirement from the Police Service, he continued to work for the Police at the West Yorkshire Police Training Centre.

Gaining his Certificate in Education from the University of Huddersfield; along with assessor and internal verifier qualifications he has been actively involved in the coordination of security training. The training in the North West is in partnership with Riverside College.

His mission with Belfry Security Alliance is to provide bespoke security solutions to clients and when training is designed and delivered, it is to a standard higher than that expected.

Mike Oliver – Business Development Director

Mike has worked in the security industry for over 15 years starting out as a security supervisor on government buildings in London. He soon rose through the ranks of management levels and partnerships. His experiences with major Security companies have left Mike with a wealth of knowledge that gives him the edge in todays markets.

Mike was instrumental with security companies at the inception changes with the SIA and the sector changes that took place, including the implementation of ACS accreditations and raising the security standards in line with the 2001 security Act. He has attended many security industry meetings across the country keeping firmly up to date with all necessary changes with in the industry.

Mike is also a member of the Merseyside security forum, headed by liverpool city council members and Merseyside Police.

Phil Moseley – Quality and Safety

Phil served for 12 years in the Royal Air Force before joining the security industry. He has held positions at various levels including security officer, operations manager, health and safety manager.

His function is to assist the management teams at all levels, from section level to board level, in awareness, monitoring and implimentation of the organisational Health & Safety responsibilities.

Emily Flanagan – Administration and Finance

Emily is the chirpy voice at the end of the phone dealing with the day to day customer queries, and also dealing with all staff wages, company invoicing and sales ledgers.

Emily has a wide range of interest outside of work that keep her busy and alert, this helps with a hectic work load. Emily is currently undertaking a foundation degree in business.

Heather Quinn – Screening and Vetting

Heather is a great asset to the company and she is in charge of the Screening and Vetting of all the company employees and sub contractors.

Heather has a work history of leadership and being a good team player in her role at Halton borough council. Heather works closely with outsourced companies such has I.C.O – S.I.A – The Home Office and Credit Safe.

Her role is extremely important so clients know they are getting the best operatives working at their premises. She is currently undertaking a foundation degree in Business.

Leigh Whitfield – Office Administration and Human Resources

Leigh has recently joined the administration team at Belfry Security dealing mainly with daily administration duties and assisting senior management with there admin. also client relations and all staff resources.

Leigh has a wealth of experience in customer relations and telecomunications assistance dealing with customer queries and sales inquiries. she is quickly becoming an intricate part of the operational team. Leigh has succesfully qualified in Level 3 Diploma in Security and Employment Standards and Emergency first aid awareness.

Richard Oliver – Security Supervisor

Richard has worked with Belfry Security for many years, gaining promotion to Security Supervisor through the ranks of guarding. he has gained many accredited certification in job specific courses and will continue to achieve a high calbre of industry knowledge over the years to come.

Richard is charged with rostering of staff, client liasion and dealing with company policy icluding enforcement of government legislation in line with the security act 2001.and Belfry Security A.C.S. ISO and diversity policies.

Luay Almulla –  Operations Supervisor

Luay came to work for Belfry Security after lengthy interview process of over 20 candidates, throughout the process Luay showed all characteristics of a professional and well educated candidate. so he was an obvious choice for the position that was on offer, he also came highly recommended by previous companies that he had worked for and held numerous high quality references from Security Companies across the northwest. his previous experiences in Key holding services and mobile security solutions meant that he was immediately comfortable with the high expectations Belfry Security place on all there services and staff. Luay is tasked with supervision operations including staffing and managerial client liaison.
